In the past year, many AI-generated idols have either made their debut or announced their debut, signalling a new upcoming trend in the industry. TopTierStage is slightly deviating from this trend by not debuting AI-generated idols, but the 2D boy group LIBERTY with their own storyline.

Hyeon Aseong
Nineteen-year-old Hyeon Aseong grew up in a nursery and suffers from memory loss. He decided to become an idol after he had a near death experience at age 14, but was saved by an idol. He joined the National Idol Traning School and after graduation became a trainee at UFO Entertainment (officially listed as the group's company).
Ahn Daol
Twenty-year-old Ahn Daol has loved singing and dancing ever since he was young. Since he was a late bloomer in his abilities, however, he almost gave up on his dream to become an idol, barely making it into the National Idol Traning School. Yet, after graduation he was admitted into UFO Entertainment and made his debut with LIBERTY.
Shin Dodam
Sixteen-year-old Shin Dodam is the son of a famous producer and therefore has been receiving a lot of attention ever since he was young. Due to his inability to meet expectations, however, he was also criticised. On his own volition, he then joined the National Idol Training School and became a trainee at UFO Entertainment after his graduation.
Seo Igyeol
Nineteen-year-old Seo Igyeol used his priviliged background to get the best training to nurture his abilities from a very early age. He graduated from the National Idol Training School at an early age as well and signed a contract with UFO Entertainment to debut. His debuts was cancelled, however, due to rapidly deteriorating circumstances within the company.
He made his debut with LIBERTY a year later.
The actors behind the characters
Unlike ETERNITY's debut song, which used AI generated voices, the characters of LIBERTY are voiced by voice actors. Hyeon Aseong is voiced by Jeong Ju Won, a voice actor and singer of Daewon Broadcasting who has worked on several animation films, games, and dramas since his debut in 2013.
Ahn Daol is voiced by Choi Gyeol, a voice actor who used to be a part of KBS' voice acting department and make radio shows for them, but is currently doing freelance work.
Shin Dodam is voiced by voice actor and soloist Lee Yong Shin. She officially debuted as a soloist with the full album "Type Control" in 2013, but has been active as an OST singer since 2005.
Seo Igyeol is voiced by Lee Jong Min, who also used to be a part of KBS' voice acting department, but is now working as a freelancer.
