"Hello, fans. I'm Lee Sang.
As of January 3, 2022, my exclusive contract with Star Empire was terminated.

Leader Jian took to the group's fancafe to share his own message. In it he also announces that although members have left Star Empire the group has not disbanded.

"IF, I'm sorry to tell you the heavy news. In conclusion, I ended my contract with Star Empire. It was a grateful company that allowed me to meet IF and the joy of debuting since I was a trainee, but due to circumstances, I couldn't be with them anymore, so we decided to break up well for each other. I think IF's biggest concern after hearing this news is whether Impact will disband. All the impact members continued their activities in such a difficult situation, and their military service overlapped, making it difficult to work as a whole group for the time being. However, I hope all the members will always be together, cherish the impact, draw a day when everyone will work happily in a good environment again, develop their own capabilities, and always try to meet IF again someday. So I want to tell you that it's not dismantling. IMFACT members are going to work hard in the future. Please cheer for us and let's always be healthy and happy! After I'm discharged from the army, I'll do my best to meet IF more often. You know, right? Just as I challenged the musical to meet IF in the military, I can do anything if I have a chance to meet IF again! IF, sleep tight! I don't know how this cafe will run now, but I often feel lonely for the time being. I'll communicate with you here! IF! Good night!"

So, far the only member who has not released a statement on their contract is Taeho who recently enlisted. It's unlikely that Taeho will be able to personally deliver a message to fans given this recent enlistment, but if there are any messages delivered on his behalf we will update.

Star Empire has not released a statement about any of the members contracts at all, but if they do we will update.
